- App preferences such as Face ID lock settings
How PennyLens Uses Information
PennyLens uses this information to:
- Save and organize your expense history
- Attach receipt images to expenses
- Show category-based history and insights
- Protect access to the app with Face ID when enabled
Data Storage
PennyLens stores your expense data and receipt images locally on your device by default.
PennyLens does not require account creation.
PennyLens does not connect to bank accounts.
PennyLens does not sell your personal information.
Data Sharing
PennyLens does not share your personal expense data with third parties.
If this changes in a future version, this policy will be updated before the new behavior is released.
Permissions
PennyLens may request access to:
- Camera, so you can scan receipts
- Photo Library, so you can attach receipt images
- Face ID, so you can protect access to the app
These permissions are only used to support the features you choose to use.
Data Retention and Control
Your expense data remains on your device unless you delete it.
You can remove expenses and receipt images from within the app as features allow. Deleting the app may also remove local app data stored on the device, subject to iOS behavior.
Children’s Privacy
PennyLens is not directed to children under 13.
